for this mani i used OPI - Can't Let Go, Ulta3 - Black Satin, Glam Polish - Graveyard Smash, Celestial Cosmetics - Matte Top Coat and China Glaze - Glistening Snow


still al lady of leisure… i've applied to so many jobs that i've lost count..
if i'm not baking or doing miscellaneous house work.. i'd be wasting away with korean dramas. understood that i don't work.. i still look forward to weekends.. simply because that's when the penis is home and i have company... GAH my life is so average.

well.. i guess it's back to the lab with me to mix up more of Smudged Valentines Day trio bottles!
(also known as being distracted by more korean drama while inhaling polish fumes)

the beginning of uni break

today was day 1 of kitchen renos with my dad...

which is.. sanding down all the kitchen cupboards to strip them of the gloss for repainting..
and might i say.. IT'S A DAMN MISSION! my goodness.. my dad and i didn't think it was going to be that hard.. but it was so messy.. there was saw dust all over the place! the kitchen was coated with it! thank goodness the momsie covered everything with newspaper before hand but man.. mission...

and this is only a smidgen of what i still have to go through...

but.. no fear.. i haven't broken a nail yet.. and i still managed to sneak in some.... NAILINGS!!

for this mani i used the polishes that were given to me for my birthday.. including.. Emily De Molly Devotion and Living After Midnight and G Gal Australia LIzard Belly for the gradient and Glam Polish Star Light for the accent nail!

ugh.. i hope they survive all the sanding i still have to do...

how to keep an idiot entertained for hours...

wear thermal polish to uni.. and spend the entire lecture watching your nails change colour as opposed to paying attention to what the shit is going on...

i had done this mani last night.. impatient to wait for the color change... i went to run my fingers through cold water to see the difference.. but it was still purple.. i thought maybe it didn't work for me.. and it was still a beautiful deep holo purple if it didn't change colors.. i woke up this morning and my nails were pink.... =="
it didn't occur to me to try warm water since cold water didn't work... i just had assumed my hands were warm. therefore they were purple.. turns out it's purple when cold and pink when warm... IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!

well.. that is my derp share for the week.. going to waste away watching Super Junior talk shows!

and last but by all means not least...

Glam Polish Matilda. ONE dabbed coat over Ulta3 Black Satin and a Sinful Colors Cotton Candy and Sugar n' Spice gradient topped off with Smudged Alone Tonight!

seriously.. i have a new found respect for the nail ladies who swatch polishes.. it is by all means NOT easy.. these 5 swatches literally took me the whole of sunday to do! luckily it was such a beautiful day out.. and i sat in the backyard pumping kpop while doing these swatches.. but they took a good 6 hours to do. on top of the fact that i took countless pictures of each mani and they all still came out only mediocre.. they're much prettier in real life and i just wish there was a way that i could capture it.

ok. this is the asian signing out now.. going to perv on some korean pop boys before passing out for uni tomorrow! hope everyone had a fantastical weekend!

i was going to do more but my back started to ache.. so i went back to watching Love Rain again for like the hundredth time hahaha.. yes i am totally compensating for my nonexistent romantic love life at the moment...

BLIBBER BLUBBER

today i have another Aussie Indie to share with you...!

this party on my nails is Glam Polish Blibber Blubber! 2 dabbed coats with seche vite!

and this is the same Glam Polish 2 dabbed coats topped off with Miss Ashleigh Matte Hatter!

Blibber Blubber is a creamy white filled with neon glitters from butterflies to different sized hexes, squares and star glitters! For the most part i didn't have to fish for the bigger glitters unless i wanted to pack it on... and being the glitter hoarder that i am.. was the only reason why i used 2 dabbed coats... but otherwise you don't really need to go fishing for this bad boy!

--must go get another refil of acetone.. i go through them like water =="
