I'M ALIVE!

Holy cow… it's been so long since i've updated my blog!

i apologise for the absence.. there really is no excuse.. i've neglected writing simply because i've become so engrossed into my korean dramas lately! but.. no fear! i have nailings to show you today!

TAADAAH*

for this mani i used China Glaze Glistening Snow and Essie Set In Stone

i was finally able to contribute my mani to #anmonday with this Bridal Themed mani too.. highly excitable because i haven't done much nail art lately either..

everything's the same.. house still in't finished.. it's been months now and we're just so over it.. there was just so much painting and sanding and patching to do.. i once looked forward to weekends where i could spend time with the penis.. but now i get anxious over whether or not we have to go and slave over the house again.. hahaha i know it sounds really awful and i'm probably being super melodramatic about it.. but it's not so bad anymore.. right now all we need is to call in the plumber and electrician.. then once those two are done we can have the flooring done and it'll be people friendly!

Smudged polish had a really good response with the Valentines trio and i am currently working on another collection for easter!

i'll just leave this here…

watching paint dry

spent the day painting the house today.. and back to the depressing pool…

i'm wearing.. China Glaze - Glistening Snow and Essie - Set In Stone

… just looking at it is already a sight to make sore eyes… so far we've managed to finish second coating all of the rooms kitchen and living.. now we still have… the ceilings.. trimmings.. flooring.. electrician.. plumbing.. and that forsaken pool =="

for lunch we had Kolo Mee at Kitchen Inn Cafe

a very decent feed for just $8! so incredibly bad for you.. but absolutely delicious.

hopefully the house will be done soon so we can move in and get my kitty… seems so close yet to far away…

STEREOSONIC 2013!

we spent this weekend at Stereosonic in Claremont Showgrounds!!!

it was so great.. i can't believe i told the penis that we didn't have to go next year if it was too expensive! (this year it was $220 because it was for two days)

needless to say.. Above & Beyond was the absolute best set.

what else can i say? it's the same all around.. girls in tight short shorts with half their butt cheeks hanging out and obscenely fake orange tans.. boys oiled up and shirtless to show off their tribal tattoos that have no meaning.. overly priced watered down alcohol and beating music!

close up of my mani..

--not really sure why i didn't wear my Sun and Moon.. but i wore new Smudged Polish, Emily De Molly Amazonia and Inevitable, Essie Set In Stone

STEAL ALL THE WEDDING IDEAS!

so.. i'm back in Perth..

guess the penis and i managed to not kill one another till my departure date!

yesterday we attended the penis's old coworkers wedding…

it was a nice small gathering of family and friends at a winery near Swan Valley

i wore the bow i got from Kim to match my outfit

and my nails…

OPI - My Vampire Is Buff . Emily De Molly - Amazonia . Essie - Set In Stone

we arrived mid ceremony and everyone was gathered around for the ceremony.. followed by the release of balloons to mark the beginning of the couples union..

after the ceremony was done the couple left to take their wedding photos around the winery and the crowd was left to food and booze!

--that awkward moment when the boy looks so much cuter making a face than you do.. hahaha

smoked salmon quiche

THIS was genius… instead of having personal gifts.. their wedding favours were printed paper bags and fruit! it was basically self serve.. --of course all the womens huddled over and took the bulk of the picks first.. i managed to grab a mango and two pomegranates in the chaos.

after a while.. we were all ushered to the restaurant where the reception was held!

--another genius.. instead of having massive flower table ornaments.. just have a far wrapped with curtain material and a few flowers!
by this time i was about 3 coronas in and working on a glass of white wine

entree was smoked chicken

main was a choice of fish or cow

unfortunately we didn't stay long enough for dessert.. but by the time main was served it was almost 10pm.. and the mosquitos were going to town on my arms and legs.. (go figure that in a room of half naked men and women that they only go after me…) so the penis and i decided to call it quits and headed home..

.. of course not before stopping my McDonalds for a sundae :)

sponge me some colour

clearly i have way too much time on my hands with absolutely nothing to do..

fo the manicure i used Essie smooth sailing, OPI suzi pedal faster, Australis sweetpea, BYS lucky ducky and topped it off with China Glaze golden enchantment... just because glitter makes everything better.

food and nails.. those are a few of my favorite things...

nails of the day :)

i used Smooth Sailing by Essie and Out Of This World by SinfulColors

Kaylen's 3rd Birthday :D

hahahaha.. this was the best picture i could take of her... if her face was pointed at the camera.. her eyes would be else where.. or her hands or body were moving..  such a fidgter

and her adorable baby brother Kegan

(i don't know what's with parents and naming their kids something-gan lately.. whether it be Hayden, Kegan, Tayden, Aeden, etc...)

--i thought we were going to be at the party forever.. we were there from 1030 in the morning and didn't get home till about 1600... kids were running around screaming their heads off playing in the play pen.. and the crowd was needless to say all married with children.. absolutely no eye candy.. (hahahaha there wasn't even a single mom there)

i finally got to use my new BRTC BBcream! i absolutely loved the texture it gave my face.. only thing is.. it's a very light shade for my skin during the summer.. needless to say i am very glad i bought this and will be using it for a while to come.
